Sunday Morning Snow, and Thankfully, Church.

This morning, I woke up for the second or third time praying church is not canceled due to snow. I really detest this winter season. I always grow annoyed with winter, but this year winter has been awful. Two weeks ago I watched a snow storm named after a crippled clown fish give us three feet of snow (which isn’t too out of the ordinary, but still a pain). It feels like every weekend after that has just been another storm, another foot of snow. I liked last year, when we got limited snow and a really warm spring really early. That’s what I want.

Any ways, church was on today and I was excited. I always love church. I want to be a youth pastor one day, and I have a special calling from God to help young girls with everything they go through. I also wanna do worship and be a writer. I want to attend North point Bible College in a little over a year from now. (I’m a high school junior.)

Anyways, the snow wasn’t too bad. On the way to the church I saw many plows still doing their job. We did come across an occasional mini snow bank in the road, but nothing us New Englanders couldn’t handle. It was only like 5 inches, which isn’t even enough to cancel school. ( I am bewildered when I hear that down south they cancel school for rain! How can you not be able to drive in rain? And only two inches of rain!) Only half the congregation decided to come to church today, but it was still a great service. I am very excited to be singing in the evening worship service. I haven’t been able to in a while but I love doing it. I want to be a Worship Pastor one day so it’s a great opportunity. I sing with the Worship Band from the youth group, they are called One Desire (check them out on facebook). To compare them, they are like a Jesus Culture like band. I love singing with them and worshiping with them. Maybe I’ll post a bit about it later :p.
